The Adventures of Pepper and Bella
Pepper & Bella: You Scratch My Back
Pepper wakes up with an itch she cannot reach, the whole pirate ship starts to rock, and Bella knows just what to do.
Some itches take two.
Every horse has a spot she cannot reach on her own: the withers, the bump where the mane ends. So horses stand side by side and nibble each other there, both at once, and scientists in France found that a scratch in that spot slows a horse's heart.
